Gary Black

Gary and Lisa-Marie are living the dream God placed in their hearts. They moved back to Colorado Springs, CO in May 2008 from Swaziland, Africa with their six children. Living in Africa as a family taught them much about long-term relationships and how valuable life is… They are now living in Mijas, Spain working again with g42 leadership academy and The World Race Expedition with a goal of raising up 100,000 leaders in this generation.

The Black’s number one initiative is to live and model true Family to business people, missionaries and natives all over the world, with a special desire to mentor and train the next generation to reach the rest of the globe with the “Kingdom” message. 

Besides adopting individual families themselves (to feed, mentor, and invest in), they work with business owners, ministry leaders and political figures to not only clothe and feed vulnerable children, but to help lift the curse of fatherlessness and hopelessness that has tried to consume this planet.

While in Africa Gary had a weekly radio program that continues to reach millions in Swaziland and surrounding nations. He tackles tough subjects faced by most Africans, such as AIDS/HIV, poverty, abuse, and uses the truth of God’s word to breathe life into dead places.

Gary’s life:
Gary D. Black is part owner of an energy company, Horizon Energy, USA. Gary also works closely serving orphans in Eastern Europe, Africa, and around the world. He is an ordained pastor since 1995, Co-Founded The World Race, G42, a number of companies and former President/CEO of Rock The Nations.

Rock The Nations, PrayerStorm and Gary birthed The CALL with Lou Engle. He has taken and trained young people and leaders all over the globe, and his passion in life is Malachi 4:5-6: “Seeing the Hearts of the Fathers turned to the Children and the Hearts of the Children turned to the Fathers.”
 
Gary’s Family:
Gary and Lisa lost their 19 year-old son, Michael in April 2013. They have established a Foundation in his name to honor his passion and a generation. All of their support for doing ministry is raised through this foundation, TeamBlack 417

Gary and Lisa both lost their first spouses. Lisa was widowed, and Gary’s marriage ended tragically. Their blended family is a picture of God’s mercy and restoration. 

As a call to the fatherless, widow, and orphan, Gary has experienced what it means first-hand to have the Father’s heart for a generation through his own family.

The Blacks’ life story has been made into a documentary and aired in over 70 nations.
