We love to party at our house! Birthdays, holidays, Tuesday’s, Flag day… Jesus loved to party as well, remember his first miracle? He turned the water into wine, why did He do that? He didn’t want the party to end, Jesus loves it when we celebrate, especially His creation!

Today is our youngest child’s birthday, Noah, he is 4 years old. The Lord told me to name him Noah, the rest of the family did not like the name at all at first, but when we looked in his eyes the first time, everybody new he was definitely Noah!

The story of Noah in the bible is mind-blowing; this man heard a word from the Lord and built his life on faith. God says
“I am going destroy both men and the earth, so make yourself an ark” It had never rained before; nobody had a big boat, especially 450 ft long!

Can you hear the people of the town he lived in? What are you building, and why?! What is rain again? You’re an idiot Noah, go get a real job! His three boys must have been made fun of their entire lives, his wife was probably kicked out of the women’s group, and here was Noah, day-after-day, questioning, wondering, worshiping God with his obedience. 5 years go by, “God, where are you”? 10 years, 25 years, 50 years, “God, the people think I’m stupid, my boys think I’m crazy”, 75 years go by; faithful, steady, 100 years building something nobody else believed in; “GOD, WHERE ARE YOU”?! Suddenly the
“springs of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of heaven were open, and rain fell on the earth”!! Gen 7:11-12

Your life is an ark. Everyday; listening, building, waiting, expecting, and knowing the springs will burst forth and the rain will come… God said
“Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked with God”. Gen 6:9
