Leaving Swazi today…

Sorry about the lack of pictures and communication… the email system still has a little was to go!

We are off to Durban to visit some AIDS hospitals and more “Care Points” and then the Pastors conference. It has been life changing, exciting, hard to take about every emotion you can handle.

This is my son Michael. We were at a care center and he noticed that these sisters, (each have a different father) shared their shoes; one wore the left, the other the right and the other a pair and they rotated each day. The story he tells of this is powerful and they loved his shoes!!! He will be coming home with a lot less and a lot more then he had when he got here, it has been educating to have him here, I have learned a lot.

  1. Michael is one of the most humble people i know, i have the priveledge of watching this sweet boy become a man. i’m honored to call him my brother and very proud of him.

  2. You’re killing me, Black……
I’m sure I would have been a mess every waking second if I was there…!

  3. PRAISE GOD…
i pray that everyday we all become alot less and give alot more away. what a great example he is.

  4. These pictures are very moving, I am so excited about what God is doing…..I miss you like crazy baby, and I miss my sweet Michaels face greeting me every morning,
    Hurry home men,
    Love you,
    Lisa/Mommy

  5. Thank you for taking time to come and share a part of your life with our nation …. watching the above pictures reminded me that it’s so easy to live in the “city”and forget what happens out in the rural areas and sometimes not so far from where we are …

It would be lovely to connect with your family to hear more about your experience …these I m sure would assist me in setting up a program for widowed moms and children who at times are at a loss about where to go for assistance …

I returned home about 18 months ago from Burkina Faso and South Africa and I simply cannot sit back and do nothing about the hardships some of my people are going through.

    Once again – siyabonga!!
