I am in the middle of Georgia this morning with Seth Barnes, the president of AIM and a bunch of young people getting ready to go around the world for 319 days on the World Race… and I am in the presence of greatness…

We started this morning with a 5:30 prayer meeting, speaking the word of God over one another and prophesying into one

another’s spirit. We then talked about Nehemiah and how God placed a great dream in his heart and how God birthed it. It was a very ‘Rich” time to say the least; normal young people from all over the nation, scared, questioning, but full of expectation of what God has before them! Looking in their faces reminded me of why I am alive and what HE has placed in my heart to see happen on earth; a generation fully alive, living His dreams, the dreams God has placed in each of their hearts! I am in the presence of greatness…

I have to be honest, I feel a little small as well. Seth Barnes has set a new standard and is a living example of what God can do through one person. Seth is on his 42nd and last day of a juice fast. He has still run 25 miles a week on this fast and his team won the obstacle course yesterday, climbing over 20 foot walls, a rope course, etc with him being the last runner that won it for his team! Above and beyond all of that, he is up with a bunch of kids every morning that are living in tents on his front lawn, giving them his best; his mornings, his afternoons, his life. Seth is not fasting for himself, he is fasting for a generation and you can literally feel the fruit of his sacrifice and obedience, and you can see it in these young people’s faces.

Believe it or not, we still have heroes in the faith, and I am in the presence of greatness…
