It’s been interesting watching my 12 year old son, Michael, process since we have been home from our trip to Africa. The

next day of our return he started school, football and back to his American routine…

I haven’t wanted to say much, just watch and observe, see how he responds to the “Norm” He turned on cartoons the other morning, made it about 3 minutes and went and got his bible. This morning in bible study he started praying kind of a normal prayer and then, choked up a little, started praying for specific kids he had held and met in Africa.

He ended his prayer with what I guess we all need to pray everyday; “Please, God, don’t let me forget their faces, their names, you have called are family to serve the orphans of Africa, don’t let me forget to pray for them everyday.”
