From: Emily Elise BLACK in Jesus name!!!

Today,
December 7th, 2006
, is the day my name changed forever. Some know my testimony, and some don’t. But my first dad passed away and my mom got remarried to my dad now. I have been going by Emily Hunt since they got married six years ago. I have always wanted to become Emily Black but it never really happened, until today. Today was truly emotional and defiantly spiritual. I got a gift of a father (legally), and I got many other gifts as well. Love of a family, a beautiful cross necklace from my NEW daddy, fuzzy slippers and many more blessed gifts. It is always important to know that someone wants you for a child and that they love you no matter what! The judge today put the words very interesting for me, she said:” Emily Elise, would you like to adopt this man as your father. Because you can turn back now if you please. This adoption will stay with you forever; I think it is even more secure and true than any marriage.” the way the judge said that captured my heart. Would you like to adopt this man?… “Defiantly I would, your honor. He is my strength and he cares for me to have me as his daughter. He has always been there for me and I KNOW he loves me no matter what… through thick and thin. He is MY daddy. Starting now!!!”

Jesus was with us all day and you could feel his presence when the judge spoke out the official words of my sister and I becoming Gary Blacks’ daughters. My dad loves me just like Jesus loves us every day.

It is something to think about… does Jesus want to adopt me?

Do I want to adopt this man as my father?
