When you close your eyes, how do you see the army of God?
I am sure for most of us; it looks like what we have been raised in. A generally white American Church, people sitting in pews or chairs, some of them raising their hands, most not, some of the really wild ones are dancing. We only see this group one or two days a week, God’s army is very busy.
When I close my eyes I see something completely different now. They are not white, they are not even from America. They have never been to a church with a Starbucks in it. They are poor, they are invisible to most of us. They don’t want or need anything we have to offer. When I close my eyes now and picture Gods Army, I see brown!
In 1 Kings chapter 19, we join Elijah running for his life! Elijah had seen signs and wonders, and experienced many miracles. Then, this “sweet” person named Jezebel wanted to kill him. Elijah was so overwhelmed that he wanted
to die. He felt alone, tired; the journey was just too hard. God encourages him and lets him know that there was an “army in waiting” A REMNANT, “Whose knees have not bowed down”.
I found part of God’s army in Mexico this past week. Some from Bolivia, most Mexican nationals that have nothing in their hearts or minds but to do the will of the Father!! For three wonderful days I spent hours with these Spirit Filled, on fire, radical young Mexicans ready to be sent to the far corners of the earth. My life was changed.
Some have already been to Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, everyone one of them being trained to go the hardest places on earth. I asked a few of them if they would come and help us in America, trust me, we need them!!!!
God’s army looks different then you think. See these radicals above? They don’t have much, they don’t need much. AIM’s

in Matamoros, Mexico is raising up an army that gives me hope again, it’s a remnant that the enemy is scared of, it’s a remnant that will be known in Heaven, and that’s all they care about…
