We are home and exhausted after 25 hours of travel. Amazing emotions running through my mind, my heart… I have left a

piece of myself forever in Africa and will build much of my life and my family’s life around this forgotten place.

You hear the statistics, you know the devastation of what HIV/AIDS has had, but when you look in the eyes, hold the children, pray for what seems to be the only hope, (complete healing of a virus), something in your spirit, deep down, changes, it changes forever.

I would love to share some stories with you, and I will over the next few weeks as I process and am able to put my thoughts together.

Thank you for your prayers, support, and all that you carried for us and Africa, it is truly good to be home and have a new home across the sea.
