I wanted to let you know about a project Seth Barnes has been working on. For a while a number of us have felt that a new wind is blowing thru the next generation. They see certain things we older types do that don’t work for them, and they re-imagine what culture could be. Wanting to help them give voice to their yearnings, we compiled a talented team of writers, photographers, programmers, and editors to produce an on-line magazine called
Wrecked for the Ordinary. The stories they share are about a few themes that are foundational for them, themes like authentic community, and simplicity of lifestyle. The point of it is to help the next generation grab hold of a faith that is vibrant and worth sharing with others.

To know and be known. This may be our deepest human need. What else is there besides relating to others, walking through struggles and triumphs together? Nothing can be more fulfilling than bringing someone else along on your life journey.

The outcast, the widow, and the orphan. The people that the world has forgotten are remembered here in a sanctuary of sorts–a place where the deserted are found. We hope their stories find a home in your heart.
