I want to apologize for not communicating this past couple weeks; I have been in the Mexican Jungle, John
Kerry’s offices in Washington DC and running around New York with my 16 year old daughter. My first opportunity to write is on the plane home from quite a trek!

A couple weeks ago, Seth, Andrew and I had the opportunity to train 57 radical missionaries in the jungles of Palenque Mexico. I flew from Denver to Dallas, Dallas to Mexico City, Mexico City to Valhermosa.

 From there drove two hours to this little place where they filmed Mel Gibson’s new movie,

Apocalypto

. Monkeys, banana trees, water falls, Mayan Indian ruins, it was breath taking and life changing! We trained a bunch of world changers in Kingdom living; bringing the light of Jesus to the darkness of the world.

as they bring the Kingdom of God to the planet, they are amazing young people that I would love to be like when I grow up!

Back for a day and then off to DC with my dad as he continues to build one of the most miraculous businesses we have ever seen. Representatives from the government of Russia, of China, CEO’s of major oil companies, the largest Wall Street traders, senators, international security companies, we sat with multi-billionaires in John Kerry’s headquarters for his presidential run. Incredible people that live in a whole other universe then most, and the fun part; they all need the same Jesus that our racers are bringing around the globe. For dad and me, it is all the same. Kingdom business, orphans, Church planting, we must embrace all of it…

Then the highlight; my daughters sweet 16 birthday in New York City! Alexis asked me a few years ago if she could go to Spain or New York for her 16th. I never thought it would be possible, but with some help from family, friends and a lot of prayer, she and I just had three of the most incredible days you could ask for. Phantom of the Opera on Broadway, Time Square, The Met, Central Park, and her favorite, Canal Street if you can believe it. Poor scheduling as far as travel, but something we will never forget! You know the song by Justin Timberlake, “I’m bringing sexy back” (it’s horrible by the way, DON’T listen to it)! We changed it to; “I’m bringing Lexi Black” YA!

I am kicking back in a speed boat on the “ River of God” and I wouldn’t have it any other way…

  1. Love you, Gary..it is all the same…family, business, Kingdom! Amazing things happening…will call you soon!
    D =)

  2. What can I say? Inspiring, challenging, faith stretching…and that’s just the beginning! It is absolutely amazing that the chapter being written in your life is becoming a signficant reference point in the chapters being written in the lives of those you train. How cool is that?
