Exodus 34: 6- 7 tells us that God is a compassionate, gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, but
that He also punishes the children and their children for the sin of their fathers to the third and fourth generations. That means that my kids, kids, kids and maybe their kids could be punished for my stupidity! Not good.
It also tells us in Deuteronomy 23:2 that the only sin punishable to the tenth generation is that of illegitimacy; fatherlessness is the only sin that carries down all the way to the 10th generation! This can tell you a lot about America and our Church’s right now.
And then we get to jump to Galatians 3:13 and thank God for His son… 13.
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone that is hung on a tree.” This means Jesus took the curse from us by dieing on the cross, we are free from every generational curse if we choose to be.
We can choose to walk in the sins of our fathers, or we can walk away from them as Jesus took care of it for us, the same is true for the blessing.
Our natural fathers and/or our spiritual fathers can command a blessing on us if we are in covenant with them. In honoring our fathers and asking them to bless us, we get to walk into something very supernatural and can accomplish great and mighty works for the Lord!
Find a “master” your real dad if he is around or a “spiritual father” and ask for their blessing, your life will never be the same.
If you are not walking in the “Supernatural” you are walking in the "Superficial” Command a blessing today.
