Well, we did it! Last night a bunch of us gathered to start our first G42 Church here in Colorado Springs…

Our vision for G42 from the beginning was to plant Church’s, serve orphans and widows and disciple the next generation. The orphan initiative is in full gear with Nsoko, Swaziland and with the World Race and AIM mission’s trips, we are gathering a pool of an Eph 4 tribe. All around what we like to call The Four Pillars of life.

Eph 4:7 – But to each on of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. This is why is says: “when He ascended on high, he led captives in his train and gave gifts to men.”

Verse 11 – 13 It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for work’s of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in faith and in the knowledge of the son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of God.

It goes on to say “we will speak the truth in love; we will grow up into Him, who is the head, that is Christ. And as one body each part does its work”.

Now, I don’t know about you, but that’s the kind of Church I want to be a part of! All five gifts, operating as one and one body, that knows who the head is, Christ. Not built around a man or a program, but build around the WHOLE body, walking in the “Fullness of God”!

We worship, prophesy, read scripture, (we walked thru Isaiah 33:6 and Proverbs 2 and 3 – all about the “Fear of the Lord”) worship some more; last night God healed a couple people as Sean Smith laid hands on them under the power of the Holy Spirit… My mother-in-law, Kelly Chadwick, and Tatiana all prophesied over each other and the body of Christ was built up and encouraged! Kelly lives in Boulder and text me when she got home… “I prayed in the Spirit for the first time the whole way home, much less complicated then I was making it. Thanks”!

We are meeting on Tuesday nights, 6:00 – no real agenda except to know Him better…

  1. tatiana layed hands on me, I could feel the power and presence, Sean was on fire, and all the while humble and sweet, we were sitting on top of each other in this tiny house, but there was lots of love, grace, and some rather yummy soup if I do say so myself,
    love you all so much!
