We have been with some of our best friends in the world the last few days… Lisa and I did a men’s and women’s conference and preached on Sunday morning; Mike and Patty Paschall are amazing and their Church is an extension of their hearts. We have never felt more love and more strength in a body – everything is BIG in Texas – especially what HE is doing with His Church!

guess who’s coming to church?

Yes, Black people are coming! It’s a bad inside joke, but Gary and Lisa Black will be with us here for the weekend of September 19 thru 21st! We’ve been talking about this for a while, but it is here! Many of you have supported them with your money and prayers for some time now. I’ve been sitting here trying to figure out how to give them a proper introduction. It’s not working very well, so let me get to the bottom-line: “Patti and I love them very much, they’re our friends, we’ve been connected for almost 10 years, we’ve seen ‘the good, the bad and the ugly’ together, our destinies are entwined, they are some of the most anointed people we know, their family rocks and we believe they have something to say to us!” How is that?
Here is a brief overview of the weekend:
Friday night, September 19th – Men’s Retreat at the Olson River Retreat! Call Paul for details and directions! 749-7529 We’ll eat at 7:00pm Cost $30.
Friday night, September 19th – Women’s Dessert Fellowship at ECF. 6:30pm – 8:30pm. (some childcare provided)
Saturday, September 20th – conclusion of the Men’s Retreat. Guys, we’ll be done by 11:00am.
Sunday, September 21st – Gary and Lisa Black at ECF. 10:30am.
