I had the opportunity
to be in the States last week. The travel schedule almost killed me, but the
freedom I felt and seeing some of my friends and family was so refreshing!
When
I landed in Las Vegas I had to head right over to Target to get a few things (we,
of course, have no Wal-Mart or Target in Africa, or anything even close), and I
wanted to run down the halls of the store as I felt such a lightness in the
spirit and was happy to be in a “safe” place… And it was Las Vegas! I have
taken the blessing that sits over the
United
States for
granted.
The Call was amazing.
For me, it was more about the relationships–rekindling old friendships and restoring broken ones–and that all
happened above and beyond what I ever could have hoped for.
I was able to spend hours with Lou
Engle and Mike Bickle, and I got to see about 10,000 people make the Nazirite Vow. I was
on stage most of the day and had the opportunity to pray for the sex trade and
prayed with Lou for this next generation to step into their destiny.
We are now,
of course, asking the Lord how we can partner together and establish what Lou and the
Call are doing, what Mike Bickle and IHOP are doing, and what AIM is doing with the World Race. Imagine
a bunch of radical Nazarites planting houses of prayer around the globe through
the World Race–come on Church!
Please take the time to
look through these links, and see what the Lord is doing with the youth of
America, the poor of the earth and a bunch of broken people that want to see the
Kingdom of God dominate the globe.
We are living in exciting times. You can jump
in, or stand on the shore and watch.

Gary! This is such amazing news! I have been waiting for this blog since last week. Thank you for “sounding the call” and empowering our generation to reach itself. I read Psalm 145 yesterday and it clearly says a generation will REACH another generation. Praise God. Praying for your work in Swazi and of course your family! See you in a few weeks.
glad you got a break from the heaviness of Africa, but sooooo glad you are home, we missed you like mad!
Go man! IT IS TIME! Thanks for making the sacrifice to take the trip! We love you all and miss you! We are thrilled when we hear relationships are restored.
Gary, great report, man! I can feel the dark spirit over Las Vegas when I go there for business, now I can only start to imagine the oppression over Africa. Wow. I will double my prayers for you and your family. I’m also going to highlight some of your recent blogs in my blog starting tomorrow. http://www.warriorshepherd.com/blog
