America
is not evil; it is my country, and still the greatest country on earth.
It is as diverse as it is beautiful.
I am thankful everyday to be born there and have lived there.
I will celebrate the 4th of July where ever I am in the world.
I will teach my children the history of their home land.
I will pray for our government, and vote for our leaders.
I do not appreciate foreigners that experience the benefits of our country, but constantly criticize

America
. Nor can I stand to listen to the rantings of spoiled celebrities that think any one gives a rip about their distorted political views. However, our country has slipped farther and farther from the values and basic morals it was founded on.
It is also frightening to me how we have all turned the “American dream” in to a lifestyle that few can achieve and even more challenging to maintain.
  I have been a slave

to my possessions, to my schedule, and the schedule of my children’s activities. I believe that is why our country is becoming saturated with anti-depressants.
We have so much freedom, we have become gluttons.
We have so much opportunity we have forgotten God.
We are so concerned and focused on our own rights and comfort we have turned our backs on our spouses and our children.
We deny them access to our hearts, as we have denyed our Creator a voice in our decisions….

We for the most part have lost the “joy of the Lord” in our quest to find happiness.

That is the part of this journey that truly excites me…..the one many Americans would dread…..the slower pace of life.
I am excited to have dinner as a family every night, not only when schedules allow.
I am excited to watch my children give their lives to a community of believers and non-believers.
I am excited to serve those that are superior to me in the
kingdom
of
God
.
  The widows and the orphans.
If you want to “find God” look into the eyes of one that has been forgotten by the world...
